Stopping the cycles of sin and rebellion

So the other day I was stuffing envelops at CBOQ offices, which isn't the most exciting job. While I was doing this I was chatting with my father in law on skype, and he sent me a link to one of his messages.

I listened to it, and realized that it made stuffing envelops much more enjoyable :). So I listened to a couple others, and this one, for some reason or another, stuck with me. I really enjoyed it, so I thought I would share it with you. So click the link below if you would like to hear it.

The Biggest problem Isn't Big Enough

So this blog is a little uncreative... mostly because I didn't write it. I randomly received this devotional book in the mail, and so I decided to read it. It is awesome. It has some great stuff in it, and the devotion for today made me think about a friend of mine who is struggling with a particular sin in his life. This devotion seemed to fit that situation pretty good, and I figure it can apply to everyone, so I'm just gonna post it here :).
"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the Knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ"
2 Corinthians 10:5

It doesn't matter what you are facing today... no problem is too big when you factor in God's power! Take hold of his poer by expecting something good to happen to you. Grab hold of hope - because you're believing God's promises. Don't be a stranger to His promises. Dig them out of the Bible. Find out what God has said about your situation. Then start saying "I expect something good to happen because God promised it!"
